Asian Mood
The East is a fascinating world.
Perhaps because the distance, between magic and millenary culture, encourages the exploration of fantastic paths. Those creative journeys, in essence, capable of fueling the imagination.
Leveraging such bold premises, architect Paola Sposari, CEO of the studio “Sposari Home,” reinterprets, within the project, the roots of the client.
We are witnessing a seductive journey, with a minimal flavor, defined by continuous contaminations.
In this context, where the contrasts resonate, the image of the interiors has been completely overturned, in order to increase, especially in the eyes of the observer, the emotional involvement.
To meet the aesthetic needs of the project, the apartment (newly built and with significant dimensions) plays with contrasting shades, and using the highly scenographic material effect offered by marble and wood.
To enhance unexpected details and styles, bronzed mirrors come into play, bringing back atmospheres with an ancient flavor; a stratagem capable of combining a touch of greater elegance with amplified perspective depth.
Even the furnishings do not escape the challenge between high-end brands and artisanal products.
Living area
Indeed, to an open living space embellished with decorations by Giorgio Graesan (created in collaboration with the company Arte’nWork), and completed by a “no name” sofa in soft colors, a dining room characterized by the presence of the bronze-colored Flos lamp has been paired with a Cattelan table in Calacatta gold.
Here, a rotating tray placed in the center betrays the origins of the property.
Kitchen
A Rimadesio portal used as a theatrical backdrop is tasked with separating the dining room from the kitchen (designed by Ernesto Meda).
The latter space is elegant, refined, almost austere.
The Pietra Grey marble, enhanced by Panzeri lighting fixtures, defines, exploiting the unique veining, both the work island (integrated with Midj stools) and the backrests.
Sleeping area
At the entrance of the master bedroom with a private bathroom (covered in Calacatta gold stoneware, and with a corner masonry bathtub), a privacy screen finds its place. This solution was identified in accordance with the client’s preferences, suggesting to hide the double bed (artisanal, with an upholstered frame and LED backlighting).
Also paying homage to tradition, the main wall (decorated with silk threads by Graesan) participates in the play of references followed by the concept.
Finally, the project is completed by a guest room, a two-level children’s room, reminiscent of an ideal castle (both adorned with Glamora wallpapers), a guest bathroom, and a service bathroom that also serves as a laundry room.
