Audaci sperimentazioni
In the heart of the most literary Milan, to be precise the old city with a Spanish layout inside the Bastioni circle, the one that separated “inside from outside”, Sposari Home has completely designed and renovated this apartment with significant dimensions.
The renovation and the project
It was a very invasive intervention in which the apartment was completely demolished and the partitions rethought and rebuilt with a new layout.
For example, the kitchen, compared to its previous location, was placed in another wing of the house. A solution intended to mask its view once the entrance is crossed.
The renovation also allowed for the integration of a second bathroom into the project. What characterizes the renovation intervention are mainly the aesthetic lowerings capable of giving rhythm and movement to the project, also exploiting the play of light provided by the recessed LEDs and the optimization of spaces. This circumstance did not prevent the creation of a particularly scenic kitchen.
In addition to a careful study of the systems, including, as anticipated, the lighting system, the renovation also stands out for the careful research of color combinations and attention to detail.
The concept, as a whole, consists of a supply of furnishings partly artisanal and partly created with products from important brands. The TV unit, for example, was custom-made by artisans, in stained black elm oak.
Particularly noteworthy are the two doors positioned at the entrance, able to conceal both the presence of a guest room and that of a corridor leading to the sleeping area reduced to a minimum. These are doors perfectly integrated into the black paneled wainscoting.
On the floor, the project plays with a double solution: a combination of a soft gray cement effect stoneware by Marazzi for the living area, and a pre-finished Wengè stained parquet by Almafloor in the sleeping space.
The windows and French doors are in two-tone Schüco aluminum. Flush-mounted boxes with wall-recessed hatches and electric motors.
Living area-Kitchen
The Cesar Kitchen and the living room, in order to optimize the spaces, integrate, accomplices, within the project.
Soft nuances surround the space; here custom-made paneling, a Ditre Italia sofa, Midj chairs, and a Cattelan table find their home.
The kitchen (equipped with a Falmec hood) is embellished with a backsplash in calacatta stoneware and adorned with stools produced by Meridiani. The living room chandelier is signed by Panzeri. Inkiostro Bianco wallpaper.
Sleeping area
To enhance the sleeping space, decidedly creative solutions have been identified.
For example, the need to find rational and space-saving solutions in environments that normally do not allow it, suggested creating a laundry storage closet right in the sleeping area.
The space houses a walk-in closet, furnished with Battsitella 53 in laminate, and suspended night compartment bases (signed by Novamobili) in matte lacquer. Sangiacomo storage bed in removable fabric.
The play of mirrored paneling, which expands the perspective, and the sliding glass door in gray stopsol glass cabin are pleasant. Lighting fixtures signed by Panzeri and Flos.
Bath
The master bathroom is a bold blend of aesthetics and functionality, where new housing codes are dictated.
The dominant features are both the numerous prints and the particular nature-themed covering, signed by Marazzi.
Paffoni faucets, Cielo sanitary ware, Arbi mirrored bathtub, and Edonè bathroom cabinet with reeded doors.
Lastly, the guest bathroom has been furnished with an Arcom cabinet subsequently resin-coated, a custom-made shower box with a mirrored door and matte black frame made by VetroArte. Irsap radiators.
