Industrial style
A villa nestled in the greenery of Brianza, designed to embody a very particular style. Spaces where important furniture produced by Italian brands are complemented by the talent of local master craftsmen.
Sposari Home took care of the furnishing concept, including the internal layout arrangement that includes the choice of coverings, colors, cement finishes, drywalls, and drops.
Moreover, they organized the lighting system to enhance the interiors of the villa to the fullest.
Living area-Kitchen
The living area, minimal and essential (handcrafted sofa and TV unit), only partially enclosed by a double-sided iron bookcase, opens up, thanks to the open space solution, to the view of the kitchen.
The kitchen, characterized by a hood integrated into the drop ceiling and a snack area, complete with stools for quick snacks (Cesar Maxima 2.2 kitchen).
In the dining room, on the other hand, a linear and strongly geometric table from the property was recovered, to which the Milanese studio gave new life after a complete refinishing.
The table is consistently accompanied by leather chairs.
Regarding the table, as emerged in previous works by Sposari Home, the possibility of recovery is by no means ruled out.
Indeed, the contrast to waste, also through virtuous recycling practices, plays a key role in some furnishing concepts.
This is where, for example, accessories destined for destruction are restored, repainted (or refinished as in this case), and revalued once again.
Higher level
To reach the upper level of the villa, one must “climb” over a beautiful raw iron staircase (handcrafted), adorned with sculptural lights at each step.
The presence of iron, along with the cement finish on the wall, gives the project a distinctly “industrial” accent.
Unlike the lower floor, where the visual rhythm is marked by the interplay of different volumes conveyed by the drops, on the upper floor, the choice was framed with the aim of maximizing the verticality of the bedroom area.
This objective was achieved by leveraging the exciting scenic effect provided to the spaces by the white wooden beams.
Therefore, the highest floor of the villa is a continuous play of perspectives. Few walls to close off the spaces, to leave room for depth of field and visual expansions.
Sleeping area and children's rooms
The feeling is amplified upon entering the night corridor, when a huge freestanding mirror steals the attention and expands the entire area perspective-wise.
Even the children’s rooms maintain an essentially minimal approach.
Both are personalized with carpentry desks, cantilevered wardrobes, and shelves with painted steel tie rods, to give a sense of greater lightness.
The upholstered beds are signed Twils.
The master bedroom, designed in shades of grays and stones, is complemented with a walk-in closet, a bed signed Novamobili, and a matte lacquered bedroom set.
Bathrooms
Finally, the two bathrooms veer towards different yet complementary styles.
The guest bathroom, on the lower floor, embraces once again the themes dear to the project; the distinctive presence of the industrial cement effect, combined with the pure and clean lines in matte white lacquer, provided by Arcom furniture.
The main bathroom, on the highest level, as part of a precise design choice, was not closed in height, in order to unleash the verticality of the room.
Thanks to the collaboration of the scenic wooden beams, it was possible to play, visually, with the unique luminous effect offered by the numerous cascading lamps.
