Isola Accogliente
In the Isola district, where Sposari Home has completely renovated this apartment inside a building from the 1960s, you can still breathe that atmosphere made picturesque by the stories of Gadda and Testori.
That flavor, to be clear, in which buildings constructed at the end of World War II blend in with “ring” constructions, that is, the particular type of houses characterized by communicating courtyards, corridors, and porticoes.
As often happens, the main need of the renovation project reflects the desire to expand the spaces to the maximum, effectively giving the living area the undisputed role of the protagonist.
A choice dictated by the ambition to make the environment extremely bright and aesthetically impactful.
This goal was achieved thanks to the presence of a kitchen decorated with an unusual full-wall wallpaper and the dramatic Itlas natural oak parquet, which runs along the entire surface of the house.
Also very particular are the cuts of the oblique and inclined lowerings, capable of giving rhythm to the project, where veils and perimeter LED strips find their place, adjacent to the lowerings themselves.
Entrance and living area
The entrance is enhanced, on one side, by the flush-mounted doors, masked by the dove-gray shade that embraces the apartment, and, on the other side, by the dramatic airy arched vault.
These are spaces transformed into small film sets, thanks to adjustable spotlights and LEDs that have required a careful and thorough evaluation of the lighting systems.
The living area, instead, is characterized by the modern projector (with a hidden projection screen), a choice that replaces the presence of the television, and by the dining area where the Lago table stands out paired with burgundy red artisanal chairs, as well as an important artisanal corner sofa.
Between the wardrobe and the sofa, a bar area has been created, with shelves and storage elements, also to make use of the space occupied by a bulky load-bearing pillar.
Kitchen
The Gentili kitchen deserves a special mention, designed without handles, in soft-touch PET laminate with HPL countertops. This is another striking solution.
So much so that, within the creative context, the original presence of Wall&Decò wallpaper, covering an entire wall, further enhances the space.
To complete the space, a Falmec hood was added overlooking the tall units on the right, along with a spacious peninsula with a hob, sink, and a functional snack bar for everyday use.
Sleeping area and bathrooms
Even the sleeping space, in terms of the lowerings, follows the common denominator aimed at favoring greater movement.
The well-equipped walk-in closet, managed by gypsum walls, is accessed through a mirrored glass door. Double bed signed by Lago.
Even in the bathrooms, the parquet from the house is present.
The windowed one, with Marazzi covering (terracotta colors very trendy), is accompanied by black accessories and small complements. Inside the shower, a niche has been created, extremely functional, placed at the foot of the window.
Also very spectacular is the light cut created between the shower and the master bedroom, thanks to a transparent glass panel.
The small bathroom, next to the study, offers contrasting colors: seafoam on the walls and cardinal red for the furniture. Black Paffoni faucets and LED mirror.
