Operazione spazio

It is right in the heart of literary Milan, that part of the city wrapped in the purest essence of romantic idealism, that Sposari Home completes its latest work.

It is an apartment with significant heights (over 3.50 m), completely renovated by our teams of professionals.

The layout of the spaces, dated and inadequate for the needs of the client, required a design revolution focused on optimizing the environments.

For example, due to the excessive importance given to the old eat-in kitchen, the living room was sacrificed and suffocated, anonymous and completely lacking in identity.

In order to remove every obstacle, our attention focused mainly on the management of the new subdivisions, a design solution that allowed for the creation of two bedrooms for the children, a master bedroom with a private bathroom, and a small but functional walk-in closet.

Thanks to the removal of partitions (now transformed into an open space), the room appears larger and airier.

Living area-Kitchen

Rewarding, in this context, was also the choice to remove the bookshelf previously placed to the left of the living room entrance, replaced by a modern-style storage boiserie unit, able to meet the space needs.

The unit, resin-coated on-site by professional decorators, also houses a television, behind which a functional and discreet panel conceals all the video-related equipment (decoder, etc).

To lighten its importance, day compartments with “box” thicknesses, much thinner, were used to frame niches in metallic lacquer.

The niches are also embellished by integrated LED lights and mirror back panels.

Speaking of mirrors, a huge Meridiani mirror gives light and depth to the narrow entrance, an environment also characterized by a self-supporting lowering designed to contain a storage room and a hatch, used to hide a staircase (disguised by a canvas painting enclosed by a LED bar).

The entire living area is characterized by decorative frames applied directly to the wall and by variations in levels. A trick used to make shelves, lights, and spotlights invisible.

The space dedicated to the family’s daily life finds expression in the beauty emanated by the “Charles” sofa, produced by B&B Italia, which stands out for the presence of a chaise longue and a bench facing the sofa.

Sleeping area

To divide the rooms, instead, the door – enameled – flush with the wall, of the same shade (warm grays) present on the walls, a separation that marks the beginning of the nighttime corridor.

To avoid further sacrificing the passage, already narrow and tight, a recess was created, solely to hide, taking advantage of a mirror insert, a space dedicated to the washing machine, dryer, and a small laundry area.

Our staff, to ensure the best harmonious, welcoming, and homely design, has worked to identify the most suitable coverings, paying particular attention to the lighting design.

Even the outdoor area finds further expression, thanks to the use of wood-effect porcelain, in complete harmony with the interiors.

Bath

As for one of the two bathrooms, the preference fell, only for some portions, on a marble Carrara effect porcelain.

The countertops, which accommodate a couple of bowls, on the other hand, were preferred in masonry.

LED strips, such as the horizontal one in the main shower, outline and enhance the room.

The second most intimate room in the house, on the contrary, features a resin cement effect porcelain.

Here, the furniture produced by Edoné stands out, as well as an authoritative monolithic light oak countertop, with a storage element placed below the sinks.

All the mirrors, finally, are equipped with LED bars.
