Each apartment brings with it the word creativity.
A noun to be understood as a necessary stimulus to outline, in different “stylistic languages,” the contours of a project.
Therefore, it is mandatory to start from this suggestion to fully grasp the emotions conveyed by the new work signed by architect Paola Sposari, head of the Milanese interior design studio, Sposari Home.
It is a game of refined perspective anomalies that introduces an innovative definition of spaces where, thanks to the contribution of master craftsmen, the concept releases unexpected solutions.
Living area
t the limit of the exchange between the kitchen and the living room, a particular dining area has been created, overlooking the spacious terrace, designed to accommodate a Cattelan table and Riflessi chairs, echoing the stools present in the island. The lighting, provided by a dramatic Glo lamp from Penta Light, softens the boundaries of the space.
Most of the furnishings have been custom-made with artisanal furniture production. Interventions that involve the kitchen, the living room, the wardrobes, the shelves, and the paneling. The accessories, on the other hand, have been managed with brands.
The living room shows a dual character: on one hand a place of relaxation, but on the other hand, also an environment with a strong living comfort conveyed by the warmth emitted by the wood.
Indeed, the wooden parts, especially the shelves-paneling in natural oak surrounding the living room, alternate in a decorative play with the effects offered by the Laminam Calacatta gold, and the mirrors.
The TV wall, instead, hides a storage unit at the base of which a sumptuous water fireplace finds its place.
The sofa, produced by Art Nova (accompanied by a cozy chaise longue), completes the space dedicated to conviviality.
Also very interesting is the verticality imparted by the artisanal staircase (the round bars work as a balustrade capable of giving lightness), welded on-site and subsequently resin-coated (work signed by Arte’nWork), which leads to the gym located on the upper floor.
Taking advantage of the disappearing effect of a flush-to-wall door obtained in the paneling (with a vertical handle that helps open the invisible chest), we enter the sleeping area.
Here, a lowered section with a groove conceals a LED light capable of “washing” a wall ideally.
Kitchen
The concept, precisely, leverages the intuition of being designed for different cuts: the kitchen, open to the living room, is separated from the other rooms by an important transparent Rimadesio portal, a device capable of providing autonomy to the rooms, but also a more intense and better distributed lighting.
The kitchen has been made in Laminam for the island cladding, with grooves of doors and tops cut at 45°.
The center of the island stands out thanks to the rhythm provided by the lowerings, but also for the light diffusion that takes advantage of the complicity between LED bars and the lighting fixtures signed by Panzeri.
The island should not be understood only as a space for food preparation (to mention the kitchens designed by George Nelson in the 1940s-50s), but also as a place made of aesthetic and modern resonances. This is hinted, for example, by the pantry doors in Fenix laminate, particularly silky.
Sleeping area
The master bedroom, illuminated by suspended Penta lamps, features a large bed (produced by Flou), matte lacquered slats, and a dressing table with a mirror and built-in monitor.
Suspended drawers, again supporting the dressing table accessories, and lowering features create a truly striking effect.
Another portal characterizes the entrance to the spacious walk-in closet, also custom-made, featuring shelves and back panels with racks, all in laminate.
Bath
Both master bathrooms are covered in stone-effect light gray stoneware. The two huge and functional showers are spacious and comfortable, with LED-lit lowerings and chromatic games.
The guest bathroom, on the other hand, despite its small size, does not interrupt the harmony generated by the project. On the contrary, it exudes elegance with a monolithic, highly aesthetic sink, a wall-mounted faucet, and walls finished with satin enamel.
